My Nan suffered from Alzheimer's Disease and she would often sit amongst us at family gatherings in 'a world of her own'. I found it mysterious and wonderful.
The painting was created in 2011 when I was doing my Masters of Fine Art at R.M.I.T and then exhibited at Red Gallery Contemporary Art Space in a solo exhibition, 'Emotional Discourse' in 2013.
